What is Gastritis?

This is inflammation of the lining of the stomach. Gastritis is a general medical term for inflammation of the stomach lining. Attacks of acute (meaning that the attacks do not last for a long time) gastritis usually last only one or two days. People with chronic gastritis may have no pain but may experience appetite loss or nausea.

What are the Symptoms of Gastritis?

Some people do not have symptoms but if they do ,the symptoms are usually:

  • Nausea.
  • Vomiting.
  • Diarrhoea.
  • Loss of appetite.
